Faculty Success • Resilience • Meaningful Change

My work focuses on how leadership, relationships, institutional systems, and workplace conditions shape faculty success and resilience—and how higher education institutions can navigate change in ways that help academic communities thrive.

About Me

I have spent my career in higher education working at the intersection of faculty affairs, academic administration, institutional systems, policy, and organizational change.

Over time, one question has increasingly connected my professional work, research, and teaching:

What conditions help faculty and academic communities not simply endure change, but grow and thrive through it?

My professional experience has given me the opportunity to approach that question from inside the institution. I have led and supported work involving faculty personnel processes, academic policy, shared governance, faculty information systems, organizational culture, faculty engagement, data governance, and resource planning. Much of that work has centered on translating complex institutional challenges into clearer, more sustainable systems and practices that better support faculty and academic leaders.

At the same time, my research examines the human side of academic organizations: how leadership, trust, relationships, workplace conditions, and institutional structures influence faculty resilience, professional growth, and the ability to thrive amid change.

What Guides My Work

How institutions work—and how people experience them.

I am continually drawn to questions about how higher education institutions function and how policies, systems, leadership, and organizational change shape the experiences of the people within them.

I believe meaningful change requires more than a new process or system. It requires trust, clarity, collaboration, and attention to the people who will experience the change.

That perspective connects my work across faculty success, resilience, research, teaching, and institutional leadership.
